The Milwaukee Hospital is located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Milwaukee Hospital )〕 ==History== The hospital was established by the Lutheran clergyman William Passavant in 1863.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Milwaukee Hospital )〕 Passavant is now recognized as a saint by the Lutheran Church and the Episcopal Church. The hospital's first location was a former farm house. Nicholas Senn was later a member of the staff. In the early 1900s, Rev. Herman Fritschel, the Director and Rector of the Milwaukee Hospital, began to greatly expand the hospital, culminating in a new building. Fritschel later helped to establish what is now the American College of Healthcare Executives and the building housed the hospital until 1995, at which time the hospital moved to a new location. In 2005, the site was converted into an apartment community.
